"message": "[roll] Roll fuchsia [wlanif] Allow drivers with separate data planes\n\nWith upcoming support for generic network device there will be drivers\nthat no longer support the previous Ethernet fidl protocol. Because of\nthe relationship between wlanphy and wlanif as well as the design of the\ngeneric network device\u0027s support for multiple interfaces it makes more\nsense for each driver to implement the generic network device separately\nrather than having wlanphy and wlanif implement it.\n\nUntil all drivers have been migrated wlanif needs a way to distinguish\none type of driver from the other. This is accomplished by creating a\nnew driver feature flag that wlanif will inspect to determine if the\ndevice it creates should support ethernet or not.\n\nOriginal-Bug: 79622\nTest: Included unit test in wlanif_unittest\nOriginal-Reviewed-on: https://fuchsia-review.googlesource.com/c/fuchsia/+/548346\nOriginal-Revision: 88c1aafd58aea464b4f280bab7b28fd4b5b0e7bb\nGitOrigin-RevId: d069bc02ca6786d1f898f2b5fdb4e9778ee7acdc\nChange-Id: I7bfb6def581147f0298a8fdcd9a3206216e1f403\n",
