"message": "[roll] Roll fuchsia [ffx][trace] Drop raw FIDL data by default\n\nIn ffx trace symbolization we process the raw \"ordinal\" integer into a\nhuman readable \"method\" and the raw \"bytes\" and \"handles\" byte arrays\ninto a human readable \"payload\". These raw trace event arguments aren\u0027t\ngenerally useful for humans - perfetto doesn\u0027t even know how to display\nthe \"bytes\" and \"handles\" args at all, but those fields still clutter up\nthe perfetto UI.\n\nThis introduces a --retain-raw-fidl command-line flag to the \"start\",\n\"stop\" and \"symbolize\" \"ffx trace\" subcommands. If that flag is not\nsupplied (the default) then the \"ordinal\", \"bytes\" and \"handles\" IPC\ntrace event arguments will be removed from the symbolized trace file,\nsaving some trace file size, but most importantly making the perfetto UI\nmuch cleaner.\n\nOriginal-Reviewed-on: https://fuchsia-review.googlesource.com/c/fuchsia/+/1483556\nOriginal-Revision: 1d11a22015745dab27f2487f190f9ca465d46d81\nGitOrigin-RevId: 94337323453bbfb443f1fa4cd0501e9ad2670fc9\nChange-Id: I541552edb30590b096174e6296c2aaf88f151c15\n",
