[sl4f] Remove now-incorrect comment about writeAsBytes() call

After this change, the comment is no longer applicable:
c65f8cd878a92c90163fbec0f80b803478b6adbf

The comment referred to a call to writeAsBytes(), which operates
asynchronously.  The current code is not asynchronous.
