[ermine] Ermine on session framework.
This is the final change that gets ermine running on
session framework. This change will go in before the
change that switches workstation product configuration
from modular to session framework. See: http://fxr/c/357055
Since these changes are cross repo, ermine will be broken
until the product configuration change lands. All effort
will be taken to land these changes at the same time.
